The 51st Annual Mattoon Arts Festival is an outdoor arts and craft show held on a quaint street of restored Victorian row houses, minutes from I-9 and I-291.. Reputed to be one of the nicest street fairs in New England, it is organized by neighborhood volunteers to raise funds for maintaining the area. One hundred artists and artisans exhibit each year.
Exhibitors may sell only items created by themselves. The application requires three labeled photographs of your work and a photograph of your work/studio space with you in it (not your display space). Send the material electronically to the bobmccarroll@verizon.net.
If accepted, you will be asked to send a $140 registration fee for a 10x10 space. We also have a few 8x10 spaces for $100..
Registration includes $5 worth of food coupons good with our food vendors. First and second place prizes of $50 and $25 are awarded in eight judging categories. Spaces are on our brick sidewalks and can be accessed by car for easy set-up and break-down. Stately trees shade many spots. Subdued, strolling musicians entertain daily.
